BURGLARY INVESTIGATION ARRESTS

On 09.21.2011 The Marion County Sheriff’s Office detectives and deputies served a search warrant at 2273 Smeltzer Rd and at 570 Davids Street Marion, Ohio as a result of an ongoing burglary investigation from burglaries that happened in the 2200 block of Smeltzer Rd. Detectives seized marijuana, and drug paraphernalia from these locations. Detectives also recovered stolen firearms from a burglary that occurred in the 1600 block of Marion Waldo Rd and additional stolen property as a result of this investigation.

Arrested as a result of the burglary investigations was 29 year old Bradley Runyon of 2273 Smeltzer Rd Marion, Ohio for charges of burglary, breaking and entering, and felony theft. Also arrested was 40 year old Michael Barnard of 570 Davids Street Marion, Ohio for charges of burglary, breaking and entering, and felony theft.

A third search warrant as a result of this investigation was served on 09.23.2011 at 217 South High Street Marion, Ohio. Additional stolen property was recovered from this location as well as heroin, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Arrested at this location was 25 year old Charda Grandberry on charges of possession of heroin, drug trafficking, receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia. Also arrested from this location was a 17 year old female on charges of possession of heroin, drug trafficking, receiving stolen property and possession drug paraphernalia. All subjects arrested were taken to the Multi-County Correctional Center. The juvenile female was taken to the Marion juvenile detention center.
