ROADS WITH HIGH WATER: UPDATED 12/23/2013 @ 9:15AM PDF Print E-mail
Written by Major Jeff Cline
Sunday, 22 December 2013

Below is a link that shows the current roads in Marion County that are closed due to high water or have high water on them. This list was provided early this morning from the Marion County Garage and some roads have been added throughout the day by our dispatchers.

This list is not exhaustive and there may be other areas and roads in Marion County that are not on this list that might have high water and be impassable.

Never drive through high water. Six inches of water will enter most cars and one foot of water will float most vehicles. The only way to be 100% safe driving in high water is not to do it. Turn around and find an alternate route.
