LEVEL ONE SNOW ADVISORY
On February 9th at 11:00am the Marion County Sheriff's Office issued a level one snow advisory for Marion County. Primary and secondary roadways are becoming snow covered and hazardous due to the large volume of snow presently falling. Crews with the Ohio Department of Transportation and the Marion County Garage are in the process of clearing the roads however roadways are still hazardous.
The National Weather Service has placed Marion under a WINTER STORM WARNING which will remain in effect until Wednesday February 10th at 7:00pm. More snow is expected to fall throughout the day and overnight. Motorists should use extreme caution while driving and limit travel.
