 Recorder, Mary Jo OsmunBegan working in the Recorder’s Office June of 1978. In later years became chief deputy under Recorder Joanne Schmidt. December 2003 Mary Jo was appointed to fulfill Joanne’s unexpired term. November of 2004 was elected to first term and then the 2008 election was unopposed.Mary Jo is an active member of the Ohio Recorder’s Association, attending all conferences and continuing education classes. Mary Jo and her husband, David are lifetime residents of Marion County, have 3 sons, 2 grandchildren, and are members of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
