The Secretary of State has launched a new data portal. According to an informational brochure released by the state, "Better Lives, Better Ohio puts yearly data at your fingertips by county and statewide for more than 300 indicators or measures of things that affect our everyday living in Ohio. Data is grouped into seven areas of interest: families, public safety, government/civic health, education, natural resources and economy. For more advanced users, the data can be downloaded from the Web site to an electronic spreadsheet for use in other applications."
